When luxury French Jeweler Mauboussin approached the prestigious design firm, The Rockwell Group of NYC, The Rockwell Group contacted Nathan Allan Glass Studios Inc. Working in conjunction with Rockwell’s talented designers, Nathan Allan created a Spectacular, Icy, Diamond Stone-Like product, and called it “Crackle Glass”. The creation was to simulate a sparkled, chiseled surface of a brilliant diamond. Produced in 3 layers of Low Iron glass and mirrored panels, using fusing and laminating techniques, the overall thickness of our Crackle Glass is 1”. Another Nathan Allan signature production technique was to be able to produce incredibly difficult designed glass panels, in large panel sizes, and in a safety glass form.
