Gresham Smith and Partners chose Crystal Cobalt Blue to be installed in the chapel
of Florida Hospital Altamonte. The exterior panels beautifully illuminate the
room with natural sunlight, matching the interior walls, which offer serene privacy
from the rest of the hospital. A partition wall of Crystal Clear is a calm backdrop
welcoming visitors to their reception desk.
A whimsical wall of varying glass textures buffer the children’s play area
from the hallway in the Dell Children’s Medical Center, which earned
LEED Platinum Certification. Harmful chemicals are not needed to maintain the
beauty of glass – an aim of the conscientious designers at Karlsberger.
