Mission City Elevator

An interesting alternative to common elevator finishing products, cast glass provides an unusual and intriguing finish to this elevator cab interior. Rain textured cast panels are laminated to firefrost back panels, to ensure that the glass panels meet/exceed all safety codes for elevator cab interiors. In addition to laminating, Nathan Allan provided extra strength to the glass by tempering the panels as well. Patrons touch the 3D surface of the glass with intrigue, and many are shocked to find it's glass, not plastic. With a melting factor near 1500?F, real glass is much safer to use than other products that may melt at low temperatures and/or give off toxic fumes. Various textures and colors are available to choose from.
