· Recommended to use Urethane/Polyurethane adhesive or Premium Acrylic based Type 1 Mastic. Recommended brands are:
a) Liquid Nails – LN603 Trowel able
b) Franklin Int – 301176 Trowel able
· Avoid any adhesives that require mixing (powders with water) and any product considered to be cement or cement-like
· Adverse chemicals can damage the color finish
· Additional pre-installation consideration is to apply self leveling concrete over uneven concrete surface, eliminating pockets and valleys
· Edges and gaps between glass panels should be sealed with water-resistant silicone, to prevent water/moisture from seeping under glass surface
· Do not use typical floor tile grout

Glass Flooring has been designed using our Sandstone pattern on the bottom surface, as the mottled pattern works well in combination with the color finishes. Our trademark “Glass Sandpaper” finish will be fused onto the walking surface to provide grip to any shoe tread. Glass Sandpaper has been independently tested in laboratories, and has produced extremely high slip-coefficient results for both wet and dry conditions. Our ratings far exceed suggested ADA requirements.

Since Glass Flooring is designed as single layer material which will be installed over solid floor surfaces, the selection of a smooth pattern allows the glass panel to rest evenly on the surface below. It is highly recommended that that floor surface be as evenly flat as possible, without any concaved areas.
