Agua Caliente Architectural Glass Wall
Agua Caliente Architectural Glass Wall. This sparkling casino is a player’s paradise. Offering 71,000 square feet within greater Palm Springs with slots, video poker and table games.Plus Agua Caliente offers the area’s only private live poker room and high-limit gaming in an upscale, private atmosphere. As a result, Nathan Allan’s architectural cast glass needed to be vibrant and colorful to match this upscale Casino.

THE GLASS
Crystal Cognac Architectural Glass is part of Nathan Allan’s exclusive Josiah J Collection. A deep, wavy, flowing pattern is formed on the front side of each glass panel. As such, the texture is pronounced and very noticeable. Thousands of miniature crystals are fused on the back side of each panel. When lighted, the crystals bring a subtle, elegant sparkle to the glass. At the same time, the crystals also help diffuse any obvious light sources. In addition to the beautiful texture and sparkling crystals, a beautiful, deep cognac color finish is applied. The cognac color is rich and warm, and elegantly matches the Casino’s rich décor.
SPECIFICATIONS
Both Flat and Bent tempered glass panels are installed in the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa. Panels range up to 54” x 108” (1372mm x 2743mm). Each panel is 3/8” (10mm) thick, safety glass.
DESIGN
Because of the various different wall shapes and angles within the Casino, Nathan Allan was required to use both flat and bent glass panels. The flat glass panels fit seamlessly into a feature wall location, with the pattern in a continuous flow. The curved panels are strategically bent to tightly fit against the shaped walls of an exclusive entry. As well, the rich Cognac Color and vibrant crystals bring life and energy throughout the casino.
INSTALLATION
Quality Cabinets, San Diego CA, worked in conjunction with Nathan Allan to install all glass panels. All panels are cushioned underneath the bottom edges. Vertical edges are lined up evenly, and silicone with a special, neutral cure adhesive. In addition, panels are capped top and bottom, and along outside vertical edges, with a deep, rich molding. As a result, the finished installation enhances the glass even more.
