THE GLASS

Nathan Allan’s Cathedral Low Iron Silvered Glass was created as a cladding material, to bring light and reflection to any surface. With 1.5” (38mm) wide flutes, our silvered backing clearly shines through the glass and reflects any light which enhances the flutes. Pressed tight against the face of the bar front, the opacity of our Cathedral Silvered glass forms a very functional detail. Cladding the bar front surface blocks any view of the unfinished surface, while creating a brilliant designer finish.

Ideal for all Façade and Wall applications. This shimmering deep fluted glass brightens and magnifies any space. Quite simply, it creates an aura of richness!

SPECIFICATIONS

Our Cathedral Low Iron Silvered glass is produced with 3/8” (10mm) Low Iron Glass. The glass is safety tempered. The back surface of the glass is finished in silver, to create a mirrored effect. A protective coating is added over the silver finish. At the corners, our Cathedral Glass was mitered so that the corners fit tightly and the pattern appear seamless, as the glass wraps around the bar front. Most panels were produce at 76” (1930mm) wide x 36” (915mm) high.

INSTALLATION

Each Cathedral Low Iron Silvered glass panel is resting on a wooden millwork bottom ledge, with soft glass cushions place under the glass. The panels are installed tightly together, with minimal gaps, to reduce the seam lines. In fact, the seam lines are not even noticeable. To secure the panels to the face of the desk counter, a special compatible adhesive is used, which Nathan Allan provided to the awarded bidder/installer.
