Channel Bronze Sliding Doors & Partitions

THE GLASS

Working with MN Design Corporation, NYC, Nathan Allan produced some very large and very impressive Channel Bronze glass door panels and partitions. Created using 1/2″ (12mm) thick Bronze tempered safety glass, our Channel Bronze Architectural Glass elevates the spaces with a bold, modern appearance, and a functional privacy feature. Our bronze colored glass fits perfectly with the elegant wood features in this hotel. The glass is wrapped with sleek wood frames, allowing the glass to easily slide through top and bottom tracks. This feature creates privacy when needed, or allows for full access into the space.

SPECIFICATIONS

Multiple walls of glass were installed with our Channel Bronze Design. Panels measured as large as 48” wide x 108” high (1219mm x 2743mm), with up to 4 panels of glass per slider. Our glass elegantly filled opening of up to 16’0 wide. Channel Bronze glass is produced in 1/2″ (12mm) thick, bronze tempered safety glass.

INSTALLATION

Each glass panel is installed into a perimeter wood framework, in both the sliding and swing doors. After the panel frames were installed on the perimeter glass edges, each panel is connected within the header rails above, and slotted into the floor tracks below. This high end modular track system allows for very sold, heavy glass panels, to easily slide back and forth. A very high end installation by Mass Merchandising of Bohemia NY.
