Our 1.5″ Thick Glass Countertops Low Iron is a popular choice for designers wanting a Thick Glass Countertop. Low Iron Glass has 90% of its natural iron content removed. As a result, a Thick Glass Countertop will lose its green tone and appear almost colorless. At the same time, this modern glass becomes much more appropriate within trendy and contemporary environments. Low Iron glass also allows for ultra clear viewing through the 1.5″ Thick Glass Countertop. Accordingly, this white and colorless tone makes an ideal base for any color finish application. For example, the vibrant applied colors will read accurately and not be altered by the glass tone. Adding another cool feature, is the use of reflective surfaces underneath our 1.5″ Thick Glass Countertops. For this reason, the reflected light creates deep, crisp details in each texture.

NOTE: 1.5″ Thick Glass Countertops Low Iron. During the melting process of 1.5″ Thick Glass Low Iron, numerous air bubbles form inside the glass, and will be visible in the finished product. This is common, acceptable, and part of handmade, organic glass production. Many clients often request that we produce additional air bubbles; however, this is a random occurrence and beyond our control. Typically, the larger the panel size, and the thicker the glass, the greater amount of air bubbles will form, as are visible in some of the Related Project photos below. However, in small samples, air bubbles will not be visible.
